UPMC Corporate Marketing is hiring a Health Activation Specialist II to join our team! This role will work Monday through Friday during the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule. The Health Activation Specialist II advances UPMC's mission by developing and executing campaigns that empower patients and members to make informed decisions about their care. This role integrates data insights, behavioral science, and omnichannel outreach to strengthen the patient and member experience. Through personalized engagement and health activation strategies, the Specialist II helps reduce barriers, encourage digital adoption, and build trust, ultimately improving outcomes and satisfaction across payer and provider audiences. Responsibilities: Develop and implement integrated, multi-touch campaigns and journeys that inspire patients and members to engage in preventive care, screenings, and condition management.? Personalize outreach using data, segmentation, and digital tools to ensure communications reflect patient and member needs. Manage campaign calendars, budgets, and vendor relationships while maintaining focus on patient-centered outcomes. Draft copy for use across a variety of communication vehicles for diverse audiences including internal stakeholders, academics, entrepreneurs, physicians, and software engineers. Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, reporting results tied to satisfaction, quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, Stars), and health outcomes. Support initiatives that address barriers to digital health activation, ensuring equitable access and positive experience for all patients and members. Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other entities within UPMC including, but not limited to Clinical Marketing, HP Clinical, Product, Quality, IT, Operations, Access, Internal Communications, Patient Experience, and Revenue Cycle; ensure campaigns are accurate, evidence-based, and aligned with UPMC?s mission? Demonstrate service-oriented behavior in interactions with clients and co-workers. Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred. One to three years of marketing, health communications, or patient/member engagement experience. Familiarity with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and campaign analytics. Knowledge of healthcare environment and payer/provider dynamics. Strong written, verbal, and project management skills. Familiarity with health care terminology (preferred).
