JOB DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Health and Justice Coordinator within the Greater Manchester Region.
Health and Justice roles will support the GM region with developing pathways and approaches for People on Probation/In prison who need health support, with a view to reducing health inequalities.
We are looking for candidates who have significant knowledge and experience of working within the health and justice arena, understand the devolved arrangements within the GM region and how this can support the development of provision for People on Probation and in prison.
The successful candidate will understand how Health and Justice collaborate currently both in the community and prison settings.
You will have a working knowledge of the impact of continuity of care, CORE20 Plus and other health and justice programmes.
We would expect the candidate to have considered recently published Strategies, commissioning opportunities and activity within the Region and nationally.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for partnership work, understanding of the GM whole system approach and have the drive to improve the health needs of our people on probation and in prison.
