  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. This is a field-based role covering Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties, supporting multiple construction sites with hands-on guidance and compliance management.
Reporting to the Safety Director, you’ll play a key role in promoting a positive health and safety culture across all sites, ensuring that our operations meet legal and company standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies
  • Provide clear, practical advice to site managers, supervisors, and operatives
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-up actions
  • Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and health and safety training where required
  • Support the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
  • Conduct regular training needs analysis and maintain the training records of company personnel
  • Maintain accurate records and produce detailed reports for internal stakeholders
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation and industry best practice
