This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for an exciting new challenge. With the wide range of services delivered by the Council, you’ll enjoy a varied workload in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
We are looking for a dynamic individual to help us continue to deliver a high performing Health and Safety Service, which can evolve and develop to meet the future needs of the Council.

You will be part of a team of highly competent Health & Safety professionals who respond to the Council’s existing and emerging health & safety risks.

In practice, this will include:

• Carrying out workplace audits and inspections
• Investigating incidents and documenting and reporting accidents, hazardous events, and near misses
• Offering expert health and safety guidance to managers
• Delivering health and safety training tailored to the needs of service areas

You will also support the delivery of health and safety services to Tees Active, the company that operates the Borough’s leisure centres, schools and academies.
