Simcoe Parts Service is currently recruiting for a H&S Co-Op Student to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a soon to be grad who is interested in expanding their skills within the Health and Safety field. This position is a part of a strong team environment.
In this role, you will assist with the day-to-day function of the H&S department. SPS’s Co-op program aims to provide students with valuable development experience that can be leveraged in future H&S career opportunities.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: $24.91 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

§ Provide administrative support to the H&S department and JHSC team with data entry, meeting scheduling, filing, etc.
§ Assist the H&S department with the implementation of safety programs, communications or initiatives
§ Assist with investigations and reviewing incident reports
§ Prepare and update reports as needed
§ Lead in class safety trainings as required
§ Other duties as assigned
Work Details: Monday to Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm
Hours subject to change / occasional Saturday may be required
