ERM is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist for a full-time opportunity based out of our client’s location. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring health and safety compliance with applicable regulations and existing company standards and contributing to an environment where employee health and safety is preserved. You will have the responsibility, authority, and knowledge necessary to develop and implement site-specific Health & Safety plans at a complex project site. The ideal candidate will bring a working knowledge of H&S technical capability to help our clients proactively address their health and safety risks and challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for professionals interested in field-based work who are looking to develop their careers in health and safety consulting. Responsibilities: On-site health & safety consultant for a technology sector client Delivery of Health and Safety services and Incident and near-miss management including stop-work intervention. Confirm that Health and Safety legal compliance requirements are understood, control programs are in place and that compliance is monitored during construction activities. Provide regular inspection routines to projects to promote safe behaviors, and good conditions and to increase safety awareness across all workers on site. Provide feedback on overall health and safety performance to regional leadership. Other Health and Safety related tasks as required. Work Location: Eastern Tokyo.
