Alliance Employment Group is looking to hire a Health & Safety Coordinator!
This is a full-time temporary position at our Whitby, Ontario site.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

  • Health and safety certifications/education preferred.
  • 2+ years prior safety experience.
  • Experience in the Emergency Services or safety-related field, an asset.
  • CPR & First Aid certificate mandatory.
  • Must have driving license and vehicle.
  • Knowledge of the OHS Act and Regulations.
  • Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations well.
  • Excellent and professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent safety reporting skills.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure the on site team is complying with health and safety provisions
  • Completing incident reports and follow-ups as necessary.
  • Provide safety support and information to employees.
  • Inspect workplace for safety and health hazards.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and safe work practices related to site safety.
  • Ensure company’s health and safety policy and programs are followed.
