Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and lead site-specific health and safety plans and initiatives and enforce compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Deliver and track safety training, toolbox talks, and mentorship to employees and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and local safety regulations.
  • Track, report, and improve safety performance across all projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, near-misses, inspections, and safety training
  • Support project teams in implementing corrective actions for safety concerns
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement emergency response plans.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and support management in continuous improvement efforts.
