JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Health & Safety Coordinator to oversee and enhance our workplace safety programs within the Heavy Highway Construction industry. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and minimizing risks to employees. As a Health & Safety Coordinator, your key responsibilities will be to perform job-site visitations, audits, incident investigations, and emergency response. You will also assist operations with compliance and communication of existing HSE programs by performing meetings, training, and new hire orientations.

SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health practices.
  • Proficiency in first aid, CPR certification, and emergency response planning.
  • Experience in manufacturing/construction environments with a focus on health & safety management.
  • Excellent report writing skills for documenting incidents, audits, and compliance activities.
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions on health & safety topics for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills for performing root cause analysis of workplace incidents.
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) principles and practices.

    Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
