SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced business environment, preferably warehouses, offices, retail.
  • IT Literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ISO Compliance & Management Systems e.g., Environmental, Quality and OHS.
  • Experience with delivering presentations/ training sessions.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Data/SPC Analysis.
  • Ability to manage time and workload well and able to balance number of priorities.
  • The ability to work well alone and part of a team.
  • Excellent observation skills with attention to detail.
  • Possess good timekeeping and punctuality.

QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED):

  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent. Willing to work towards NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
  • PTTLS or equivalent training qualification/ Train the Trainer in relevant H&S subject/s
    Reports to: Health, Safety and Environment Manager
    Location: Based at Head Office (Victoria), Albert & Consort, supporting Retail stores as required.
    Salary Range: £26-£30.000 dependent on experience
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Support managers and teams in conducting risk assessments, implementing safe systems of work, and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations.
  • Deliver and coordinate health & safety training (e.g. manual handling, fire awareness, site inductions), and arrange external training where needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and systems for audits, risk assessments, incidents, and training compliance.
  • Assist in accident and incident investigations across sites and stores, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate fire safety and first aid procedures, including drills, equipment servicing, and team responsibilities.
  • Contribute to internal audits, inspections, and company H&S committee meetings.
  • Support ISO-compliant document control and H&S performance reporting.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
