JOB OVERVIEW:

We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Health and Safety Coordinator. This role requires a proactive individual with at least 2 years of experience in health and safety, who is comfortable traveling to multiple sites for conducting training sessions and safety inspections. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all locations.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar health and safety role.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to different project sites.
  •  Strong communication, reporting, and training delivery skills.
  •  Valid driver’s license preferred.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits at various work sites.
  • Deliver on-site health and safety training to employees and contractors.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining HSE policies and procedures.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation, including training records, inspection logs, and compliance reports.
  • Identify site-specific hazards and recommend control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety laws and client requirements.
  • Support emergency preparedness and response planning across sites.
