  • Must have demonstrated skills in the execution of improvement projects (project management) and change management with compliance in a top tier COMAH site, ideally in a logistic/transport environment. To add to this you will have knowledge and/or implemented safety programs, delivered process safety assessments and responsible for the major accident prevention plan.
  • You will have the ability to foster effective relationships internally and externally and be a lead auditor in ISO 14001, ISO 5001 and ISO 9001. In addition, experience of developing improved EHS Culture through training and development of staff with the ability to challenge current working practices in a practical and engaging way is essential. Must have a full clean driving licence and fluency in written and spoken English.
Responsibilities

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the EQHS Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of developing, implementing, maintaining and managing the overall environmental, quality, health and safety activities to agreed EQHS and other operating standards across the Company with the primary objective of preventing loss and liability. Gain an understanding of other areas and functions toward implementing of company wide administrative and quality improvements.
Ideally from a related industry you will ensure that all activities are controlled using suitable management systems that comply with regulatory requirements in particular compliance to the ISO 14001 and 9001. A strong managerial ethic is required to both drive internally and ensure cross functional involvement. This role is a regional role supporting the current 3 Irish branches.
