Under the supervision of the General Plant Manager, the Health and Safety Manager is responsible for supervising the Health and Safety Coordinator, as well as overseeing the Health and Safety program and staff across the mill. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced leader to drive Health and Safety initiatives throughout the mill and champion a strong safety culture. JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Occupational Health & Safety Certificate/Program graduate (degree or diploma)
• Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification
• 7+ years experience as a Safety professional in an industrial environment
• Knowledgeable in Occupational Health and Safety legislation
• Passionate about creating and implementing Health and Safety programs with the ability to get buy in from all employees through interpersonal skills
