Nau mai haere mai ki tā mātou whānau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family The $700M Takitimu North Link Stage 1 project will provide a four lane inter-regional connection between the existing SH2 from near Loop Road, Te Puna in the west, to SH29 Takitimu Drive Toll Road in the east, and includes an on-ramp from Fifteenth Avenue to the SH29 Takitimu Drive Toll Road. The new 6.5km long four lane highway will bypass Te Puna and Bethlehem townships, improving the efficiency and safety of the strategic network, and will support growth in the Minden area. involves challenging geotechnical conditions, significant bridge structures and a focus on environmental and sustainability outcomes. It also has a focus on partnership between Waka Kotahi and local Hapu. This exciting project is at the first stage in the larger Takitimu North Link corridor with Stage 2 which continues from Te Puna to Omokoroa announced as a separate Road of National significance, with detailed design already underway. Fulton Hogan is constructing the Stage 1 project in a joint venture with HEB Construction, continuing a long and successful partnership on large projects in the Bay of Plenty. Beca and Holmes Consulting are the Joint Venture’s designers. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a hands on Health and Safety Manager for this critical leadership position. You’ll report to a highly respected, experienced Project Director who provides clear, authentic leadership and champions Fulton Hogan’s REAL values, supported by a dotted‑line connection to our New Zealand Construction Safety Manager for additional coaching and strategic insight. Working with a wide range of stakeholders, you’ll ensure all site works meet national legislative standards and everyone on site is competent, capable and properly equipped. You’ll work alongside some of the best in the industry, with genuine mentoring and opportunities to grow in your role. You’ll lead the project’s safety strategy and grow a high‑performance culture across the JV, guiding a capable safety team to influence construction leaders, engineers, supervisors and crews to uplift behaviours and de‑risk complex work. You’ll translate our national safety requirements into clear, practical actions in the field.
