Description

ABOUT US

Abergeldie is a majority locally owned contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Manager to take the lead in driving our safety culture across NSW. This role goes beyond compliance - it’s about embedding our safety strategy and systems into day-to-day project delivery, ensuring we not only meet our client and regulatory requirements, but continue to raise the bar for what good looks like on site.
Reporting to the Head of Safety Operations, you’ll provide leadership, guidance and career development support to our team of NSW Safety Advisors. You’ll also work closely with project teams and clients to strengthen relationships, build trust and deliver better safety outcomes.
With projects located across NSW, regular travel will be required. This is a hands-on leadership role where your influence will be felt across multiple projects, helping us maintain our reputation as a contractor that puts people first.
