KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and experience integrating these frameworks into business processes
  • Background in health and safety management within a complex operational environment
  • Proficient in risk assessment methodologies and best practices
  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred, or a willingness to work towards qualification
  • Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH, Grad IOSH, or CMIOSH) or actively working towards
  • Certified ISO Auditor, or a willingness to achieve certification
  • Support for IOSH membership and other professional fees will be provided

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Certified Fire Risk Assessor qualification is a plus
  • Understanding of Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations
  • Experience with integrated management systems for compliance tracking
  • Familiarity with the ZeroVision safety framework is an advantage

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee and ensure compliance with all HSE compliance and Policies.
This is a critical role, with a high level of responsibility that requires collaboration across Employee Relations, Branch Managers and Operational teams to foster a strong health and safety culture. The successful candidate will be expected to oversee all HSE policies, training, ISO4001 compliance, audits and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring all activities align with the Verisure UK’s compliance framework.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and maintain adherence to health and safety regulations, ISO 45001 standards and legal requirements
  • Strengthen risk management processes and ensure ongoing compliance across all operations
  • Lead and deliver training programs to engage employees and improve health and safety awareness
  • Oversee management systems, ensure ISO and ZeroVision compliance, and drive continuous improvement
