Job Title: Assistant HSE Officer

Department: QHSE

Industry: General Contracting

Experience: 0–3 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the HSE team in monitoring site activities and compliance with safety policies, procedures and risk assessments.
• Conduct routine site safety inspections and report unsafe acts, conditions and potential hazards.
• Support toolbox talks, safety inductions and HSE awareness activities for employees and subcontractors.
• Ensure proper use of PPE, safety signage and safe working practices at the construction site.
• Assist in maintaining HSE records, inspection checklists, incident reports and safety documentation.
• Support the HSE Officer/Manager in incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 0–3 years of HSE experience in construction/general contracting.
• Fresh graduates with relevant HSE qualifications may be considered.
• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH certification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of construction safety practices and UAE HSE requirements.
• Good communication, reporting and teamwork skills.
