JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Specialist to help keep our employees safe and our workplaces compliant. In this role, you’ll build and manage safety programs, train staff, and ensure we meet all health and safety rules. You’ll also support and guide our Health and Safety Coordinator and work with leaders to improve how we handle safety across all locations.

• Create and update safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Do regular site inspections, audits, and risk checks
• Make sure we follow laws like OHSA and WHMIS
• Investigate accidents and near-misses, then fix the causes
• Keep detailed records and write safety reports
• Train employees on safety procedures and emergency plans
• Mentor and support the Health and Safety Coordinator
• Promote a positive, safety-first attitude with all staff
