Description
  • Health & Safety ManagementImplement and monitor the company's HSE policies, procedures, and safety programs across the manufacturing facility.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
  • Identify unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor compliance with PPE requirements, safe working practices, and approved operating procedures.
  • Ensure appropriate safety controls are in place for production lines, ovens, mixers, conveyors, packaging machinery, forklifts, boilers, compressors, and other industrial equipment.
  • Support the implementation of machinery safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), confined-space, working-at-height, hot-work, and electrical safety procedures.
  • Monitor chemical handling, storage, labeling, and disposal practices.
  • Ensure appropriate emergency response arrangements are maintained throughout the facility.
  • Conduct specific risk assessments
  • Incident & Accident ManagementInvestigate accidents, near misses, unsafe occurrences, and occupational incidents.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate HSE incident records and prepare regular reports and trend analysis.
  • Follow up on corrective actions until closure.
  • Promote near-miss reporting and proactive hazard identification.
  • Environmental & Occupational HealthSupport the implementation and testing of emergency response and evacuation procedures.
  • Conduct regular fire and emergency drills.
  • Ensure fire extinguishers, fire alarms, emergency exits, assembly points, first-aid facilities, and emergency equipment are properly maintained and accessible.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal teams and external emergency service providers when required.
  • Compliance & DocumentationMaintain HSE policies, risk assessments, inspection checklists, permits, incident reports, training records, and other required documentation.
  • Support internal and external HSE audits and inspections.


  • Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent internationally recognized HSE qualification is preferred.
  • IOSH certification and relevant safety training certifications will be an advantage.
  • 5–8 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably within FMCG, food manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, bakery, or a similar high-volume production environment.
