About the Role To provide an excellent customer focused service to Citizens, Carers, other colleagues and partners requesting Adult Social Care or health services. To ensure Citizens and Carers needs are assessed and triaged at the point of contact with the support and guidance of a senior colleague and are advised of the services available to them. To liaise with social care and health professionals as appropriate, to ensure that Citizens and Carers are triaged to determine urgency and presenting level of risk. To signpost Citizens, Carers, other colleagues and partners to appropriate provision and services dependent upon need. About You When applying for this role you will be asked to write a personal statement. You should describe and provide an example of how you possess the below experience, skills, abilities and knowledge. If you do not have the experience, explain how you have the knowledge of that point. ·         Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a busy customer contact centre ·         Ability to communicate effectively with vulnerable Citizens and Carers and their family, demonstrating excellent communication and listening skills ·         Extensive experience of using the MS office suite. ·         Ability to undertake high level office administrative duties. ·          Ability to understand and deal with confidential and sensitive issues when liaising with both team members and other professionals -          A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post. Responsibilities
