Do you want to help people access the care and support that they need? If the answer is yes, then working as a Health and Social Care Service Advisor in Health and Social Care Connect may be the role for you.  This role provides a valuable service to the community, to health and social care professionals and partner organisations such as the emergency services. The role will involve taking calls and responding to e-mails from members of the public and a range of professionals such as GPs, and providing them with information and advice, or signposting or referring them onto the appropriate services to meet their health and social care needs.  This is an office based role, and staff work shift on a rota basis covering the hours of 8am to 10pm including weekends and bank holidays. Whilst this is a 24/7 service, advisors are not expected to work every evening or weekend and there are pay enhancements for weekend working. You would not be expected to work nightshifts in this role.
