Our client is seeking an experienced Health & Wellbeing Practitioner with strong expertise in workplace adjustments and disability inclusion. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in reviewing existing processes, updating policies, and engaging stakeholders to design an approach that supports both employees and managers while ensuring compliance with equality legislation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a diagnostic review and making recommendations for improvements, including considerations for a centralised budget. You will need to be a self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills, and must have proven experience writing similar reviews.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct a diagnostic review of current workplace adjustment processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Produce a practical report with clear recommendations to:
  • Improve efficiency and accessibility for colleagues requiring adjustments.
  • Support managers in fulfilling their responsibilities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and organisational values.
  • Draft and present an updated Workplace Adjustments Policy, ensuring clarity, fairness, and usability.
  • Design a clear process flow for handling adjustments, including the role of central case management support.
  • Engage stakeholders through interviews and workshops, incorporating feedback into recommendations and policy updates.
  • Explore options for managing workplace adjustment costs, including a potential central budget.
  • Develop a phased implementation plan, highlighting quick wins and clear ownership of actions.
