DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):
Maintain a tidy and well stocked department. Build displays, stock, rotate, merchandise, price and label products, and face the department.
Receive incoming deliveries, ensuring invoice accuracy and that product quality meets standards.
Maintain proper cooler rotation and perform cooler maintenance in accordance with established standards.
Maintain a tidy area, performing housekeeping throughout the day to ensure the floor space is tidy for safety and cleanliness reasons.
Removing worked pallets of stock immediately. Notify the Department Manager or Supervisor of quality issues or customer concerns in a timely fashion.
Maintain a safe and positive work environment for our customers and fellow staff members. Special projects and other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
CSNN or equivalent education/work experience strongly preferred.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to remain calm under pressure. Able to prioritize multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
Values building relationships, is able to effectively deal with challenging people and issues. Customer service focused, is responsive and adapts to customer needs. A strong communicator who is able to communicate with all types of people.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have previous retail experience in a health and wellness setting.
Must have a keen interest in natural, organic, local, and healthy food.
Must be available to work some evenings and a day on the weekend.
Must be able to frequently lift 25-50 pounds.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.50 per hour
