Overview:
The Health Behaviorist works in the primary or specialty care setting and is a core member of a collaborative-care team that includes a patient’s medical provider and a psychiatric consultant, as well as the larger primary care team or medical team. She or he provides behavioral health consultation to children, adolescents, adults and families to improve behaviors and mental health conditions to positively impact a patient’s overall health goals.
