Learn more about IOM’s workplace culture at IOM workplace culture | International Organization for Migration [https://www.iom.int/iom-workplace-culture]   Project Context and Scope Under the overall supervision of the Programme Officer (Migration Health) and the Programme Manager for the African Development Bank Project, and the direct supervision of the Senior Health Associate, the Health Capacity Strengthening Associate will provide technical and operational support to the implementation of the African Development Bank (AfDB)–funded Sudan Integrated Social Sector Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project (SISSIRP). This initiative aims to restore and expand access to essential services in health, technical and vocational education, and water and sanitation across four states (Aj Jazira, River Nile, Sennar, and White Nile), while strengthening resilience, community capacity, and equitable service delivery. The Health Capacity Strengthening Associate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of health capacity strengthening and training activities under SISSIRP, with a particular focus on institutional capacity building at federal and state levels, coordination engagement with WHO and other key health actors, in accordance with IOM’s regulations, rules and procedures.   Organizational Department / Unit to which the Consultant is contributing   ADD DETAILS INCLUDING PROJECT NAME AND WBL
Responsibilities
Provide technical and operational support for the Sudan Integrated Social Sector Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project to restore essential health services. Focus on institutional capacity building at federal and state levels and coordination with WHO and other health actors.
