SKILLS

• Proven experience in caregiving, particularly in home care and HCA expereince
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and best practices.
• Experience with hospice care or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Senior care techniques and strategies to assist client effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and the families
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
• A nurturing attitude combined with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
• First aid, CPR and criminal check required.

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing assistance.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Assist with meal preparation and patiently feeding the client
• Support client with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
• Engage client in ROM exercises and massage client for circulation.
• Assistance in Peri care and skin care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment within the home.
• Document daily care activities and report any concerns to family members or healthcare professionals.
