Betel Home Foundation operates an 80 bed personal care home in Gimli, Manitoba.
We are currently recruiting for a part-time Health Care Aide Permanent day / evening position .

POSITION SUMMARY:

Assumes responsibility to assist nurses in providing resident care. Utilizes a team approach to ensure resident focused care in a safe environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Minimum Grade 10 education and approved Health Care Aide Course is an asset. Training for uncertified Health Care Aides is available.
· Combination of medical training and experience will also be considered.
· Previous experience in a related field would be of benefit.
· Desire to participate in learning opportunities to develop self.
· Ability to foster good relationships with staff, residents and public, thereby promoting resident-focused care and services.
· Due to the high physical demands of the position, the incumbent must be physically and mentally capable to meet these demands.
