SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team at Ohana Care Health Services. In this role, you will provide essential in-home support and assistance to clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your contributions will be vital in helping individuals maintain their independence while receiving the care they need.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Health Care Aide Certificate, or relevant education
  • Registered with Alberta HCA Directory
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with seniors.
  • Valid Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months).
  • CPR (HCP) Certificate.
  • Valid Alberta Drivers License and vehicle would be considered an asset (pay incentive provided)

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health status.
  • Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
  • Conduct light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
