POSITION #1 (URGENTLY REQUIRED)

  • Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (7 hours per day, between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
  • Location: Deep South Calgary
  • Client Preference: Female caregiver with excellent English communication skills

  • Experience with dementia care
  • Outgoing, patient, and skilled in critical thinking
  • Comfortable around dogs and able to drive a truck

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a caring and skilled Health Care Aide looking for a flexible opportunity with a company that values compassion, professionalism, and person and family-centered care? Compass Rose Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Health Care Aide (HCA) to join our team on a casual basis.
We are currently looking for 3 part-time employees for specific clients (please see descriptions below). Our goal is to match successful applicants with consistent clients each week. The better the fit and the stronger the performance, the more clients—and hours—you’ll be assigned. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships while enjoying flexibility and variety in your work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
  • Support with safe mobility and transfers.
  • Monitor and report changes in client conditions to RN Supervisors.
  • Offer emotional support and companionship.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments or errands, as needed.
  • Accurately document care activities in accordance with protocols.
  • Follow infection prevention and health & safety standards.
