  • Engage residents in social activities and companionship to enhance emotional well-being
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces
  • Monitor residents’ health status, report changes promptly, and collaborate with healthcare professionals as needed
  • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, employing patience and understanding

Experience

  • Prior experience working in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in senior care or caregiving roles that involve supporting elderly or disabled individuals
  • Familiarity with dementia care strategies to support residents with memory challenges
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities to promote accessibility and independence
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently and hygienically
  • Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to caregiving
