To learn more about us please visit About SMHG [https://smhg.ca/about/].  We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled temporary part-time Health Care Aide to join our team at St. Michael's Health Group based out of our new Fenwyck Heights Independent Living Community at 260 Pioneer Rd, Spruce Grove, Alberta. Reporting to the Supportive Services Supervisors, this is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is flexible, dependable and sensitive to the physical, social, spiritual, and psychological effects of aging. Duties and Responsibilities: * Assisting Residents with bathing, grooming and dressing * Medication administration and reminders * Observing residents’ condition Qualifications: * A High School diploma is preferred * Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized educational institution required * Current registration with the CLHA (College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta) All successful candidates must have, prior to start date:  * A current and clear Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date.  * A tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.  POSTING DATES: From April 4, 2026 up to and including April 10, 2026. Responsibilities
The Health Care Aide is responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. They also perform medication administration and monitor the physical and psychological condition of residents.
