THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for one part time Caregiver to join our GHC family in Okotoks. If you have a heart for caregiving and experience in personal care and memory care, this role could be your perfect fit.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Certification as a Health Care Aide in Alberta.
  • Registration on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Current Police Clearance with a Vulnerable Sector Check (within three months of application).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Driver’s license and access to a vehicle with ability to transport clients
  • A compassionate approach and commitment to care.

Responsibilities

Your duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Providing memory care support
  • Outings to activities (exercise, volunteering etc.)
  • Support around the home
  • Engage in conversation and activities throughout the day
  • Offering companionship
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Light housekeeping
