POSITION SUMMARY AND SCOPE OF SERVICE:
Reporting to the Supervisor, Acquired Brain Injury, or to the Service Area Manager, the incumbent is responsible for the delivery of services and supports to adults & children admitted to this service. The PSW-Stabilization provides personal support services in accordance with the Mission and Values of the organization and applicable provincial legislation and regulations. PERSONAL CARE / SUPPORT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consistent with the Mission and Values of the organization, the PSW-S is responsible for the provision of personal support services (within assigned home or service area) that maximize the development of personal independence and choice-making while attending to safety / management of risks. In providing these services, the PSW-S is guided by the policies & procedures of the organization and the requirements of external accrediting or regulatory bodies.
