OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aides to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance. REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care settings is preferred.
  • Knowledge of caregiving practices, including dementia care and hospice care principles.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and provide compassionate support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients and their families.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
  • Basic cleaning skills to ensure a hygienic environment for clients.

Responsibilities

DUTIES

As a Health Care Aide, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Providing meal preparation and ensuring proper nutrition for clients.
  • Administering medication as prescribed and monitoring clients for any changes in condition.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
  • Assisting with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Supporting individuals with disabilities and those experiencing dementia or hospice care needs.
  • Documenting patient care activities accurately and reporting any concerns to nursing staff.
