Roles & Responsibilities :

SKILLS

  • Proficient knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
  • Experience in hospital settings, including familiarity with Level I and Level II trauma centers.
  • Ability to perform intake procedures and assess patients’ vital signs accurately.
  • Understanding of medication administration protocols and emergency medicine practices.
  • Experience with outpatient services, geriatrics, PICU, OR environments, or medical-surgical units is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact empathetically with patients from diverse backgrounds.

  • Utilize EHR systems for maintaining patient records and managing data efficiently.
  • Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments and coordinating follow-up care.
  • Ensure compliance with medical terminology and coding standards, including ICD coding for accurate billing processes.
  • Assist in emergency situations by applying basic life support techniques as needed.
  • Engage with patients to provide exceptional service and address their needs effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within clinical areas to promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
