Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to clients with psychosocial disabilities
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Assist with community participation and appointment support
  • Implement individual support plans in consultation with participants and their families/care team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and provide reports as required
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including treating doctors, psychologists, and social workers
  • Participate in ongoing training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mental health support work
  • Lived experience is highly valued and encouraged to apply
  • Proven experience in support work and comfort with providing personal care, including hygiene and daily living assistance 
  • Currently enrolled in a Psychology or Social Work program (acceptable)
  • Diploma in Mental Health or higher qualification preferred

Flexibility to work varied hours, including shorter shifts and sleepover shift

Salary: £30,630 - £32,346 per annum
