REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification in Health and Social Care, such as NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience of working in a care setting, preferably with vulnerable adults and children.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to:
  • Communicate effectively with service users and colleagues
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Provide emotional support and empathy
  • Manage complex care needs
  • DBS Check: Enhanced DBS check required.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

As a Care Worker with Amazing Angels Care Ltd, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centered care and support to our service users. You will work with vulnerable adults and children, assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Care and Support: Provide high-quality care and support to service users, including:
  • Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation and assistance with eating
  • Mobility and transfers
  • Social support and companionship
  • Daily Living Tasks: Assist service users with daily living tasks, such as:
  • Laundry and cleaning
  • Shopping and meal planning
  • Managing finances and correspondence
  • Complex Care Needs: Support service users with complex care needs, including:
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Ventilator care
  • Peg feeding
  • Bowel management
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care and support provided, including:
  • Care plans
  • Daily logs
  • Incident reports
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care and support.
