JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • A good command of English is necessary for effective communication with residents and staff.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes are advantageous.
  • A full driving licence is desirable for those required to travel between locations.
  • A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing excellent patient care is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support individuals in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the appropriate personnel.
  • Drive to various locations if required for home care visits, ensuring safe transportation of clients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and review individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to health and safety regulations.
