Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to join our team in the STOCKPORT area. Based at our location, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality in-home care services that align with our mission of compassionate support and personalised attention.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Follow individualized care plans to meet each client's specific needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Support clients with mobility, medication reminders, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for all clients.
• Drive clients to appointments or errands as needed.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience or interest in home care or caregiving roles.
• Valid driving license and ability to drive clients safely.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately.
• Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
• Reliable, punctual, and respectful demeanor.
• Prior experience working in a care home is advantageous but not essential.

There is a range of different shift patterns available to fit in with other commitments you may already have. There are full-time and part-time positions available.
