JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care or assisted living environments, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role requires a caring disposition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A valid driver’s licence is desirable for transporting clients.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and moving clients when necessary.
  • Certification in first aid or CPR is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed.
  • A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their lives.
