Job Title: Healthcare Assistant - Floating Support and Domiciliary care
Location: Gloucestershire Area(Please be aware that there is a potential option to offer Accommodation for employees who reside outside of the Gloucestershire region).
Are you an experienced carer looking for a rewarding opportunity in domiciliary complex care? We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our compassionate team, providing exceptional support to clients with complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality personal care to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Provide specialized care for individuals with diabetes, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration.
- Assist with PEG feeding and support clients with stoma care, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Develop trusting relationships with clients and their families, promoting independence and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a UK care setting, with a strong understanding of complex care needs.
- Proven experience in diabetes management, PEG feeding, and stoma care.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car, with a willingness to upgrade insurance to business use.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dedicated team.
