Description

To maximise the capacity of Town & Country Care Homes Ltd to perform effectively in the provision of a high caring service to our residents. The Care Assistant is part of the Town & Country Care Homes Ltd Staff Team, whose function is to attend to and meet the personal needs of residents under the direction and supervision of senior staff.

SUMMARY

As a Health Care Assistant, you will be integral to delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients in both home care and care home settings. Reporting to the nursing staff, your role involves assisting with daily living activities, implementing care plans, and ensuring the well-being of those you support. Your core skills in communication and IT will enhance your ability to document care effectively, while your premium skills in driving will facilitate patient transport when necessary. Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Maintain accurate care plans and documentation to ensure continuity of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on patient status.
  • Uphold a compassionate and respectful environment for all patients.
    Due to the nature of our business, we carry out Enhanced Disclosure checks on all individuals we intend to employ. The current cost for this is £32. It is paid upfront by the company and then deducted from your first salary.
    Successful candidates will be required to register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) prior to commencement of work, if not already done so.
