JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting individuals within a care home environment, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to help others.
  • Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents as needed.
  • A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
  • Follow individual care plans to ensure that each resident’s needs are met.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on resident well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in residents’ conditions.
  • Support residents in engaging with social and recreational activities to promote well-being.
  • Drive residents to appointments or activities as required.
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment for all residents.
