JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our care team. As an HCA, you will play a vital role in supporting residents or patients with their daily needs, promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives through high-quality, person-centred care.

• Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals and hydration, ensuring individual dietary needs are met.
• Help individuals maintain as much independence as possible, encouraging participation in daily activities and routines.
• Observe and report any changes in the physical or emotional condition of residents to senior staff.
• Assist with the accurate recording of care notes, observations, and other documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in accordance with infection control and health and safety standards.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents or patients, helping reduce loneliness and isolation.
• Escort individuals to appointments or assist with mobility within the home or facility.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Follow all safeguarding protocols and report any concerns promptly.
