Job Summary

Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each person’s needs and preferences
Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Administer medication or health-related tasks as directed by healthcare professionals, following strict protocols
Use IT systems to update records, document care activities, and track progress accurately
Drive between care locations or client homes safely and efficiently to provide timely support in home care settings
Contribute to creating a warm, respectful environment that encourages social interaction and emotional well-being

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
Basic IT literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes
Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle is preferred for roles involving travel between locations
Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while demonstrating empathy and patience
Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to caregiving environments is advantageous
