Job Summary: To assist residents with daily routines and activities of daily living, including recreational support. The role does not include the provision of personal care to the residents.

Qualifications:

• Grade Twelve (12) required or equivalent.
• Preference for experience or education in recreation or healthcare
• Previous experience in a long-term care facility, senior home, or group home will be considered an asset
• Good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work shift work
• Must have sound interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Compassion, integrity, maturity, respect and a positive attitude are essential attributes
• Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check and clear Vulnerable Sector Check.
