Responsibilities: You will be responsible to: Follow patient safety goals (IPSGs) while providing care to patients. Measure vital signs of assigned patients as per physician’s order. Performs urine dripstick and documents the findings as per standard procedure. Performs patient’s blood glucose check with POCT and documents the findings. Assists patients for taking meals as required. Provides personal hygiene care to facilitate patient’s cleanliness and comfort. Assists CNs with pre-operative patient preparation i.e. shaving, enema, etc. Give bedpans and urinals to patients and empty, clean, dry and replace the same following patient care procedures. Requirements: You should have/be: Matriculation (pre-medical), Intermediate. Completion of training course for Health Care Assistant at NES, AKUH or other recognized institution. Certification: Heart Saver Course, Service Excellence, PSA, etc. Good communication skills. Ability to remain tactful, patient and calm in stressful situations. Comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted
