Specific Accountabilities

• Fostering a positive teaching and learning environment
• Being available for weekday email communication with students and faculty. Consulting with colleagues as required
• Preparing clinical daily plans and providing instruction using a variety of teaching techniques and current technologies that enhance student success
• Delivering courses in accordance with curriculum standards
• Monitoring student performance, maintaining progress reports, and encouraging student success. Administering and grading assignments and assessments in a timely manner.
• Follow the Lambton College Academic Calendar and all related policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Candidates teaching in the BScN program must have a minimum BScN degree; a Masters degree in Nursing is preferred.
