SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Sebright House Care Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering compassionate care and support to our residents, enhancing their quality of life and well-being.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support.
• Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Support residents in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all residents.
