JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring a high standard of care. This role is vital in promoting the well-being and comfort of our patients, while also working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to implement care plans.

SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Experience in a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential.
  • Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
  • Proficient IT skills for maintaining patient records and using healthcare software systems.
  • A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
